SaBishop Conley's Book Club This event is reserved for Level Three students (7th and 8th grade). Each season, Bishop Conley chooses a text for the Level Three list. Students who read the selections may register for the event. We gather for a meal and a lively discussion about the book.

Fun Day This event is reserved for Level One and Two students (3rd through 6th grade). Students participate in a variety of games all about the books on their lists. Kids from all over Lincoln come and enjoy the fun for a Saturday morning. Prizes, "get to know you" games and surveys about the book lists all make this a fun morning.

Competition Day The culmination of the Page One seasons happens at Competition Day. Teams and individuals compete to see who knows the most about the books. Any student may compete in the Individual Test, answering questions about the content of the books on their leveled list. Students also compete in the Team Written Rounds. Five rounds of ten questions each are answered in a quiet, timed setting. The top two schools for the Written Rounds advance to the Team Countdown Round, which is a fast-paced, buzzer round consisting of 15 questions. Students must register with their school.

Catholic Literature To encourage young readers to read Catholic books, Gloria Deo sponsors Catholic Literature. Each list incorporates several marked titles. Students who read these texts are entered into a drawing for Gloria Deo gift cards. The raffle is held during Competition Day. Names should be submitted to Ann Kotopka by the student's coach. Bookmark Contest This year we are hosting a Level III Bookmark Contest. This will be the official bookmark for the 2020 Page One Season. Over 300 students will receive the winning bookmark. All 7th and 8th graders wanting to participate should check the 'students' page for more details.
